IIHM Hydrabad campus

The Creation of IIHM Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh comes from the wider perspective of creating more valuable hospitality management professionals and hoteliers in the state of Andhra Pradesh. With a very progressive administrative structure at the state level, Andhra Pradesh has become an important place for industrial, social and tourism growth in the near future. Alongside the extensive developments in the manufacturing sectors, the service sector too is becoming larger and larger in the state. With more luxury hotels been built it is the right time now to train and prepare the hoteliers and hospitality experts of the future.

 

With this objective in the background, IIHM plans to lead the hospitality management education and training in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Hyderabad campus of IIHM will eventually create and nurture these professionals who would drive the hospitality sector of the state. The long term aims and rationale of the programme is to develop and enhance specific business competence in the core areas of study in the field of hospitality management, to provide a vehicle for continuing personal and professional development to prospective hospitality management professionals and students.

The institute at Hyderabad is well equipped with state of the art labs, including kitchen and computer labs and training rooms, modem classrooms and student recreation areas.
